Triadi and Devi’s guests came from all over the world, with Thailand doing what it does best, welcoming everyone with a smile! No expense was spared for this fabulously glamorous couple who dedicated their hearts and imaginations into preparing for the ‘wedding of the decade.’
Each aspect of this wedding was prepared impeccably to the couple’s wishes, who knew exactly how the day should ‘flow’ and how the guests should be gently guided throughout the day. The groom also had a clear idea of the videography he wanted and worked with our experienced film maker, Mas to create a beautiful and touching collaboration.
The couple were delighted with the venue, and chose to have the ceremony site set up over the pool area. The hair, makeup and floral elements of this wonderful wedding were to die for.
After the ceremony we organised a ‘live music cocktail reception’ which at sunset featured the famous Thai floating wish lanterns that the couple and the guests lit and set free with a wish. We love how the video captures this part of the wedding, it is so intimate, quiet and beautiful.
Then the party was dazzled by a three man fire show featuring the best fire show dancers in Thailand. This is always creates awe and amazement since Thailand offers some of the best fire show performers in the world. Next was a perfectly delivered fireworks display and a personalised fire sign, which announced that the night time had truly begun!
Party games kicked off the evening reception and then there was a casual ‘Thai meets West Barbecue & Buffet’ with seafood and halal specialities.
A professional DJ led the newly married couple and their guests into a fabulous evening party. Folks of all ages enjoyed dancing the night away before the guests were transferred back to their accommodation in the wee small hours.
A big thank you to you both for choosing and trusting me to create your perfect day! We loved planning your glamorous wedding in Thailand.
The Thailand Wedding Of Holly & Joachim
Planning Holly & Joachim’s wedding was so much fun and the couple were a dream to work with. With only 18 guests, it was a small, intimate affair for family and close friends hosted at a private villa location in Kamala, Phuket.
The location for the wedding was perfect and the wedding party were very happy that the villa matched their expectations both indoors and outdoors too. The villa was situated not too far from the airport but had a remote and peaceful location not far from the beautiful beach.
It was coming to the end of the low season in Phuket (end of Oct). The weather was perfect; maybe helped by reverting to an old Thai tradition to keep the rain away.
The theme was white, simple, elegant and chic with plenty of ambient and atmospheric lighting, creating a really romantic feel. The ceremony was set off nicely with a solo guitarist performing the wedding music. The ring bearer, 15 month old Olivia was too cute and the ceremony itself was absolutely lovely.
A duo of vocals and guitar kept the guests entertained throughout the cocktail hour, and then dinner was served under the stars, hanging lanterns and fairy lights. It really was the perfect intimate Thailand wedding.
The evening was finished off in style with the guests partying until they decided they needed to cool off and the entire party – yep – that included the bride and groom, jumped into the pool.
To sum up in Holly’s words:
“I’m not sure there are enough words to describe how much we loved our wedding day! It was just incredible and by far the best day of our lives!
Thank you so much to you and your team for making this happen! It has been described as like being from a scene in a movie by our guests – just beautiful and all your staff and yourself of course were just so lovely and thoughtful. Thanks so much for that.
We had a quiet day yesterday at the villa. A few sore heads, including my own! I must admit I never thought I would end up in a pool on my wedding day!’
You are very welcome Holly & Joachim! Congratulations on becoming husband and wife, best wishes, Sarah.
